Job Summary
As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and testing of critical security infrastructure, including intrusion detection, fire alarms, and video surveillance systems. Based in the Cologne and Garzweiler area, you will work independently to commission security systems and provide direct on-site support to customers, including technical instruction on system operation. This role is ideal for technical professionals who enjoy a mix of hands-on electrical work and customer interaction. The position is particularly attractive due to its stable nature; unlike many technician roles, this involves local assignments with regulated working hours and no overnight travel. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Systems Technology, Telecommunications Electronics, or Electrical Installation.
Experience
- Professional experience in electrical engineering, systems technology, or telecommunications electronics
- Experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of security and fire alarm systems
- Proven track record in customer-facing technical roles and system instruction
- Experience in independent testing and commissioning of technical security equipment

- Valid Class B driver's license is mandatory. Willingness to undergo continuous further training and education is required. Must be located in or willing to travel within the Cologne/Garzweiler or Haan/Ratingen/Velbert/Mettmann regions.
