Job Summary
As an IT Technician at Evangelisches Klinikum Niederrhein, you will play a vital role in maintaining the digital infrastructure of one of the largest hospital networks in the western Ruhr region. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve providing 1st-level support, installing and configuring hardware—including Windows 11 PCs, Citrix environments, patient tablets, and specialized medical data devices—and managing rollouts or office moves. You will be the primary point of contact for users, resolving technical issues via phone, remote access, or on-site visits while ensuring all activities are documented in the ticketing system. Required Skills
Education
Completed IT vocational training (e.g., Fachinformatiker Systemintegration) or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Completed vocational training in IT or equivalent professional experience as an IT Technician
- Professional experience with Microsoft operating systems and standard office applications
- Practical experience in hardware and software troubleshooting and network fundamentals
- Experience with Citrix and Thin-Client management systems is preferred
- Prior experience using a ticketing system for documentation is an advantage
