Job Summary

This role involves the end-to-end electrical development of electromechanical devices and systems at a facility in Bremen. You will be responsible for defining requirements, creating solution principles, and designing concepts that prioritize the reuse of existing components. Day-to-day tasks include selecting standard and purchased parts, coordinating interfaces with PCB development departments, and creating high-level wiring diagrams and system cable specifications. You will also oversee product data management in SAP PLM, manage first-article integration and commissioning, and conduct engineering tests to ensure series production readiness. This position is unique for its interdisciplinary scope, requiring collaboration across various specialist departments to optimize the functionality and operation of electronic and optronic devices. It offers a permanent contract with a focus on military standards and international travel, making it an ideal opportunity for a structured professional looking to manage complex technical projects from conception to serial production.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in the electrical development of devices and systems
  • Several years of experience using the cable development tool E3.series
  • Experience in specific technical areas such as electric drives, power supplies, computer systems, or bus systems
  • Experience working with military standards (EMV/EMC) for land vehicles and ships
  • Proven experience in integration, commissioning, and series production preparation

Additional

  • Willingness to travel worldwide is required. Must have the ability to work under high pressure and possess strong organizational skills. Experience with SAP and PLM systems is a concrete prerequisite.
