Job Summary
As a Master Electrician or Electrical Technician for a leading steel construction company in Darmstadt, you will take on a pivotal role as the Responsible Qualified Electrician (vEFK). Your daily responsibilities involve the electrical maintenance of extensive production facilities, including heavy-duty cranes and machinery. You will perform functional and safety testing, troubleshoot complex faults, and ensure all repairs comply with DGUV V3 standards. Beyond technical repairs, you will oversee partner companies during new installations and manage the documentation of electrical safety protocols. This full-time position (35 hours/week) is ideal for a professional seeking a high-responsibility role in a modern industrial environment. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in an electrical trade (e.g., Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering) plus advanced qualification as a Master Electrician (Elektromeister), Electrical Technician (Staatlich geprüfter Techniker), or equivalent.
Experience
- Professional experience in electrical maintenance, ideally within a production or industrial environment
- Proven experience in control and regulation technology
- Qualified experience in performing safety and functional tests (PE, isolation, voltage) according to current standards
- Experience in supervising third-party contractors for new installations
