This role involves working within the City of Leipzig's Audit Office, specifically within the Technical Audit department. As a Civil Engineering Auditor, you will be responsible for the comprehensive oversight of civil engineering projects, including the planning, tendering, awarding, execution, and final accounting phases. You will conduct project-related system audits, analyze operational processes, and evaluate the economic efficiency of construction measures. A key part of the role is drafting audit reports, providing expert opinions, and discussing results with various municipal departments. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Civil Engineering (specializing in Civil/Underground Engineering), Architecture, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field; or qualification for the higher technical administrative service.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in the field of civil engineering
- Professional experience within the technical administrative service
- Extensive knowledge of general construction contract law and public procurement/fee law
- Experience in analyzing and evaluating operational processes and project organizations
- Proven ability to present complex technical issues clearly in writing and speech
