Job Summary

As a RAM(S) Expert, you will join FERCHAU to support Siemens Energy in the critical field of High-Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) and FACTS systems. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve analyzing tender documents and creating complex reliability models using Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) and Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA). You will serve as a key technical advisor during the plant design and component selection phases, ensuring that all systems meet stringent Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) requirements. This role is unique because it combines deep technical engineering with statistical risk assessment in the renewable energy and power transmission sector. You will be instrumental in developing maintenance concepts and supporting the entire project lifecycle from bidding to execution. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering or Energy Technology

Experience

  • Professional experience in RAM(S) analysis or reliability engineering
  • Experience in the field of high-voltage technology and power systems
  • Experience in project management and large-scale plant execution in export business is desirable
  • Professional experience in creating technical documentation for bidding and processing phases
  • Experience in intercultural collaboration with internal and external partners
