Job Summary

As a Scientific Associate at the amedes Group in Hannover, you will play a pivotal role in patient-oriented diagnostics within the fields of molecular (hemato-)oncology and somatic genetics. Your daily responsibilities include generating medical reports, evaluating Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) data, and analyzing liquid biopsy results to support individualized therapy planning. You will actively optimize diagnostic pipelines and develop new analytical methods using specialized laboratory information systems like GePaDo and MOLIS. Required Skills

Education

Master's degree or equivalent in Biology or a related natural science field; a PhD (Doctorate) is welcomed but not mandatory.

Experience

  • Professional experience in (hemato-)oncological or molecular pathological diagnostics
  • Extensive experience with molecular biological and genetic procedures, specifically NGS
  • Practical experience handling peripheral blood, bone marrow, and FFPE samples
  • Proven experience in medical report generation and somatic variant assessment
  • Experience working within certified quality management systems
