Job Summary

This role involves the establishment, control, and continuous development of municipal energy management for the District Office of Görlitz. As an Energy Management Engineer, you will conduct technical analyses of properties to identify energy weaknesses, define strategic goals, and implement optimization measures for technical systems and building automation. You will be responsible for monitoring energy consumption, creating benchmarks, and reporting to political committees. Additionally, the position entails managing energy-related projects and identifying suitable funding programs to support efficiency initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to shape sustainable infrastructure in a large regional administration that offers flexible working hours, mobile work options, and a comprehensive health management system. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor/Master/Diploma) in Energy Technology, Environmental Technology, Building Services Engineering, Civil Engineering, Supply Engineering, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Professional experience in project management, specifically in planning and implementing technical or energy projects
  • Specialist knowledge in energy and building management, including plant technology and energy monitoring
  • Experience in analytical and conceptual evaluation of technical and economic contexts
