Job Summary
This leadership role involves managing a section within the Ministry for Labor, Social Affairs, Youth, and Integration in Bremen, specifically focusing on the implementation of the European Social Fund (ESF) Plus program. You will be responsible for the strategic steering of funding processes, optimizing administrative frameworks, and ensuring that the management and control systems comply with both national and European regulations. Day-to-day, you will lead a team of specialists, oversee financial monitoring and controlling, and act as a key liaison to audit authorities and EU commissions. This position is unique as it offers a high-level public service career (A 15 / TV-L 15) with the opportunity to directly shape regional labor market and social policies. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Social Sciences, Economics, Law, Humanities, or a comparable qualification; alternatively, eligibility for the second entry level of the high-level civil service (Laufbahngruppe 2, 2. Einstiegsamt).
