Job Summary
This is a unique opportunity to join the environmental administration of Saxony-Anhalt through a structured two-year preparatory service (Referendariat). As a Trainee, you will undergo a practical and individual training program designed to prepare you for a career in the higher technical administrative service. Your day-to-day will involve participating in the implementation of environmental policy decisions, attending specialized courses in administrative and environmental law, and developing management skills. The position is highly attractive as it offers the status of a civil servant on revocable appointment (Beamtenverhältnis auf Widerruf), a competitive A 13 salary grade with a 50% technical supplement, and a clear intention of permanent employment upon successful completion. You will be based at the State Administration Office in Halle/Saale, contributing directly to climate protection and environmental safety within a secure public sector framework.
Required Skills
Education
Master's degree or University Diploma in Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Engineering, Process Engineering, Geoecology, or a comparable environmental engineering field. Foreign degrees must have official recognition of equivalence (ZAB).
Experience
- Professional experience is not strictly required as this is a preparatory training role (Referendariat)
- Must meet the legal requirements for appointment as a German civil servant
- Experience in scientific or technical academic research through a Master's or Diploma degree
