Job Summary

As a High Voltage Operations Master Electrician for Berlin's power grid, you will play a critical role in maintaining, expanding, and modernizing the city's 36,000-kilometer electrical network. Based in Berlin Treptow-Köpenick, your daily responsibilities include coordinating and executing switching operations in high-voltage substations, ensuring strict adherence to occupational safety and accident prevention regulations. You will take on facility responsibility, overseeing assembly activities, maintenance measures, and fault troubleshooting. The role involves active participation in testing and commissioning new or renovated systems, as well as coordinating personnel and material resources. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a State-Certified Technician or Master Craftsperson in Electrical Engineering (Techniker/Meister), or a comparable degree.

Experience

  • Experience in coordinating and controlling assembly activities and secondary equipment
  • Proven track record in technical leadership of network nodes and maintenance measures
  • Experience in fault investigation and resolution within electrical grids
