Job Summary
This role involves serving as a central consultant and coordinator for Research Data Management (RDM) at the University of Kaiserslautern-Landau. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining RDM guidelines, advising researchers on grant applications, and helping departments develop discipline-specific data strategies. A significant part of the day-to-day work includes supporting the creation of Data Management Plans (DMPs), particularly for large-scale coordinated programs like Collaborative Research Centers (SFB). You will also establish training programs and represent the university in regional and national RDM initiatives. Required Skills
Education
Completed scientific university degree (Master's or equivalent); a Doctorate (PhD) is preferred.
Experience
- Professional experience in the field of Research Data Management or research funding
- Experience in organizing events and managing training programs
- Proven experience with modern data processing applications
- Familiarity with university structures and academic governance is preferred
- Experience in networking and exchanging information with national research data infrastructure (NFDI) stakeholders
