As an IT Specialist at PRODATO, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of customer environments within a managed service framework. Your daily tasks include the design, installation, and configuration of virtual machines and Kubernetes clusters, as well as managing virtual networks, VPN endpoints, and firewalls. You will play a critical role in application maintenance, focusing on containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, while monitoring system health and documenting backups. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration or a university degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Physics, or a comparable field.
Experience
- Initial practical experience in DevOps, specifically with Kubernetes and container technologies
- Professional experience in Linux system administration
- Experience in network engineering, firewall configuration, and IT security
- Professional experience in customer support and technical consulting
- Experience with system monitoring, backup documentation, and application maintenance

- Must be willing to participate in a rotating on-call schedule and occasional work outside of regular office hours. Ideal candidate should reside near Nuremberg for regular office presence. German work permit required.
