Job Summary
As an IT System Engineer – Client & Support at Messe Stuttgart, you will take professional responsibility for the User Help Desk (UHD), acting as the central interface between employees, IT operations, and technical expert teams. Your day-to-day involves managing 1st and 2nd level support, handling incident and request management, and overseeing the rollout and configuration of clients, peripherals, and standard software. Beyond technical troubleshooting, you will conceptually develop Enterprise Service Management (ESM) processes to enhance service quality. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational IT training (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration) or a comparable qualification. Certifications in the Windows Client environment are desirable.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT Support (1st and 2nd Level)
- Experience in managing User Help Desk operations and service-oriented touchpoints
- Proven experience with Windows client environments and Microsoft 365 services
- Experience in monitoring systems and IT project management fundamentals
- Experience in handling user and customer support in a professional environment
