Job Summary

As an Avionics Technician in Hamburg, you will be working at a major aviation competence center responsible for the complete overhaul of large commercial aircraft. Your daily responsibilities involve performing maintenance, repair, and modification work on electrical and electronic aircraft systems in strict accordance with EASA Part-145 regulations. You will install, test, and commission critical avionics components including navigation, communication, and surveillance systems. A significant portion of the role involves troubleshooting and diagnosing complex onboard electronic systems using modern testing and measuring equipment. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Aircraft Mechanic specializing in Avionics, Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems, Mechatronics Technician, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in aircraft maintenance, specifically within electrical and electronic systems
  • Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and diagnosing complex onboard electronics
  • Proven track record of working with technical documentation and circuit diagrams
  • Experience using modern measurement and testing tools in an aviation context

Additional

  • Must be willing to work in a shift system (37.5 hours per week). Position requires high level of responsibility and diligence due to safety standards. Location is based in Hamburg.
