Job Summary

This role involves conducting legal metrology inspections and verification activities primarily in the field at customer sites across Lower Saxony. As a technical specialist for the Weights and Measures Office, you will be responsible for testing and calibrating various measuring instruments and monitoring pre-packaged goods to ensure consumer protection and fair trade. On a day-to-day basis, you will handle technical equipment, initiate administrative offense proceedings when necessary, and communicate complex legal and technical requirements to device users. Required Skills

Education

  • Professional qualification as a State-Certified Technician or Master Craftsperson in a relevant engineering discipline
