Job Summary

The Hochschule Esslingen is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher to join their Institute for Sustainable Energy Technology and Mobility (INEM) at the Stadtmitte Campus. This role involves a unique blend of EU project management within an international consortium of research institutes and industrial companies, alongside scientific research into novel and sustainable membrane technologies for PEM fuel cell applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for the scientific conceptualization, setup, measurement, and analysis of advanced testing concepts for PEM fuel cells, comparing results with existing literature. Key responsibilities also include the technical coordination of research groups, representing the institute in scientific and industrial bodies, and drafting EU funding applications. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in electrochemical energy converters and manage complex international projects.

Required Skills

Education

Master's degree or university diploma in Engineering or Natural Sciences. Doctorate in Engineering or Natural Sciences is desirable.

Experience

  • • Professional experience in the characterization, evaluation, and application of CCM/CCS for fuel cells
