Job Summary
As a Sales and Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of a traditional manufacturer specializing in electrical heating technology. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve providing expert technical consultation to a diverse national and international client base within the process industry, mechanical engineering, and climate sectors. You will be responsible for developing bespoke automation and control solutions, creating independent technical proposals, and participating in contract negotiations. Beyond sales, you will manage projects from conception through to realization, collaborating closely with purchasing and production departments. This position is particularly attractive for those passionate about sustainability, as you will actively contribute to the transition toward CO2-free industrial heat processes. The role offers a high degree of creative freedom, 30 days of vacation, and an attractive compensation package including performance bonuses, all while being based in Herford, Westphalia.
Required Skills
Education
University degree (University/FH) in Engineering (Electrical Engineering, Automation, etc.) or a comparable Technician qualification with relevant professional experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in engineering or technical project management
- Experience in developing individual technical solutions and independent offer creation
- Practical experience in technical negotiations and contract awarding
- Initial experience using standard planning software such as ePlan
- Experience in the field of automation and control of electrical heating technology is preferred

- Willingness to travel occasionally (less than 20%). Must have the ability to work independently and assertively. Role is based at the company headquarters in Herford/Westphalia.
