Job Summary

This role involves the monitoring and control of central IT infrastructure systems, including servers, storage, networks, and virtualization environments. Working from home, you will be responsible for the independent processing of incidents following ITIL standards to ensure system stability. Your day-to-day tasks will include performing critical system starts, updates, and technical resets, as well as coordinating with external vendors and service providers. A unique aspect of this position is the potential to support mainframe systems (z/OS) and the opportunity for 100% remote work within Germany. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in IT (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration) or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in IT system integration or a related field
  • Practical experience in ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management
  • Proven knowledge of z/OS and common mainframe tools
  • Experience in monitoring infrastructure components such as SAN, Tape, or Storage systems is preferred
