Job Summary
As an Electrical Designer within the Technology and Development department in Schkeuditz, you will be responsible for the design and series support of electric motors and electrotechnical components for refrigeration compressors. Your daily tasks involve specifying, designing, and qualifying built-in motors, as well as developing assemblies for the operation, control, and monitoring of cooling systems. You will conduct functional and root-cause analyses from the prototype stage through to series production, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams on innovation projects. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering with knowledge of mechanical design, or qualified electrician with a subsequent engineering degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable field of study.
Experience
- Professional experience in the field of electrical engineering
- Experience in handling 3D CAD applications and technical drawing creation is desirable
- Experience in the design and series support of electrotechnical components
- Experience in cross-departmental collaboration for development projects
