Job Summary

As a System Administrator for Storage and Backup Systems at BaFin, you will play a critical role in maintaining the stability of Germany's financial oversight infrastructure. Working within the Data Centers and IT Basic Infrastructure department, your daily responsibilities include the planning, configuration, and administration of SAN storage environments and data backup systems. You will collaborate in cross-location teams to harmonize and consolidate system environments across different sites. This role is unique as it offers the opportunity to work at the heart of the European financial regulatory system, contributing to the integrity of the eurozone's banking supervision. The position is permanent and can be filled on either a full-time or part-time basis in Frankfurt am Main, offering a stable public service career path with significant technical responsibility for large-scale data center operations.
