Job Summary
This PhD position offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of immunology, cancer biology, and data science within the prestigious Munich biomedical ecosystem. As a doctoral researcher, you will conduct sophisticated bioinformatic analyses of single-cell and spatial transcriptomic datasets to map the tumor immune microenvironment in T-cell lymphoma models. Your day-to-day work involves developing reproducible computational workflows for data integration and statistical analysis, collaborating closely with experimental researchers to interpret biological findings. Required Skills
Education
Master of Science (MSc) or equivalent degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Systems Immunology, or a closely related field.
Experience
- Professional experience in bioinformatics, computational biology, or systems immunology
- Experience in developing and applying reproducible computational workflows
- Experience with single-cell or spatial omics data analysis is preferred
- Experience working within interdisciplinary research teams

- The position is temporary for 24 months. Candidates must be able to work on-site in Munich at the TranslaTUM and Helmholtz Munich facilities.
