Job Summary
As a Data Science Intern within the BAWAG Group's Customer Service Center in Vienna, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing customer journeys and service processes. Working within an international team, your daily responsibilities will involve analyzing customer service processes using Power BI dashboards and performing deep-dive data validation in Excel to identify patterns, outliers, and trends. You will be tasked with identifying customer 'pain points' such as long processing times or media breaks, and translating these findings into clear IT and business requirements. This role is highly collaborative, requiring you to coordinate with various departments to prepare decision-making documents and presentations. This 5-6 month internship offers a unique opportunity to gain professional experience in a globally active banking group, providing direct exposure to senior leadership and professional development through the BAWAG Academy. It is an ideal position for analytical students looking to apply data science principles to real-world financial service challenges.
Required Skills
Education
Ongoing university degree in Economics, Business Informatics, Data Science, Finance, or a related field.
Experience
