Job Summary
As a PLC Specialist, you will be responsible for the configuration, parameterization, and programming of programmable logic controllers using SIMATIC TIA Portal and SIMATIC Step7. Your daily activities will include troubleshooting wiring errors between controllers and connected devices, participating in system integrations, and conducting application acceptance tests at customer sites. You will play a key role in the automation lifecycle by creating technical specifications, release documents, and final documentation. Additionally, you will provide customer support and lead on-site training sessions. This role is ideal for a seasoned technical professional who enjoys a mix of office-based engineering and field-based implementation. Required Skills
Education
Successfully completed technical education in the field of Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation Technology, or a similar discipline.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in a comparable position
- Extensive experience in PLC configuration and parameterization
- Proven track record in technical troubleshooting and wiring analysis
- Experience in creating technical specifications and release documentation
- Professional experience in customer support and on-site training
