Job Summary
As a Data Scientist in the energy sector, you will be responsible for the technical clearing of generation and consumption units, ensuring the quality and consistency of meter values. Your day-to-day involves processing and validating large datasets, developing advanced data science methods to solve complex energy industry challenges, and visualizing these relationships for stakeholders. You will also play a key role in the continuous development of meter value management systems and maintain regular communication with grid operators and national partners. This position is particularly attractive due to its hybrid work model, flexible hours, and its focus on the energy transition (Energiewende). Required Skills
Education
University degree in Energy Economics, Technology/Engineering, IT, or Project Management
Experience
- 2+ years of professional experience in the energy industry, project management, or data science
- Experience in evaluating and visualizing large datasets
- Proven track record in developing and applying data science methods to solve complex problems
- Experience in coordinating with external partners and grid operators
