Job Summary

As a Sampling Technician at ifn Forschungs- und Technologiezentrum GmbH, you will be responsible for the end-to-end process of collecting and preparing environmental and industrial samples. Your daily routine involves traveling to various sites to extract water, soil, waste, mineral oils, and fuels. You will be tasked with creating composite samples, homogenizing materials, and performing initial processing such as crushing and shredding to prepare samples for laboratory analysis. Beyond field collection, you will maintain sampling equipment and vehicles while ensuring meticulous documentation through sampling protocols. Required Skills

Education

Chemical-Technical Assistant (CTA), Environmental Protection Technician (Laboratory Technology), or a comparable technical vocational training. Career changers with relevant skills are also considered.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the sampling of water, soil, and waste materials
  • Experience in sample processing including crushing, shredding, and homogenization
  • Proven experience in creating technical documentation and sampling protocols
  • Experience in the maintenance and care of mobile measurement technology and sampling vehicles
