Job Summary

As an Energy Systems Engineer for the municipal utility group in Strausberg, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the local energy transition. Your daily responsibilities include leading and coordinating construction projects for energy generation and storage facilities, overseeing process management for both centralized and decentralized energy supply, and managing the control room operations including measurement technology and remote data transmission. You will be at the forefront of developing technical products for energy services and ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting requirements. Required Skills

Education

University or Technical College degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Process Engineering, or a comparable technical field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the structured implementation of technical energy projects
  • Demonstrated knowledge of energy technology and energy-economic interrelationships
  • Experience in managing control room operations or process visualization
  • Proven track record in coordinating construction measures and external contractors
  • Experience working with relevant legal regulations, standards, and technical guidelines
