Job Summary

As a Junior Scientific Project Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the planning, execution, and monitoring of scientific research initiatives within the medical technology and biotechnology sectors. Your daily responsibilities will involve tracking project milestones, managing deliverables, and maintaining detailed project plans to ensure timelines are met. You will also assist in financial oversight by monitoring budgets, preparing forecasts, and contributing to annual EU reporting requirements. A unique aspect of this role is the medical evaluation of emerging technologies in the field of Cell and Gene Therapy, particularly CAR-T therapy. You will act as a central communication hub, coordinating between internal departments and external partners while organizing high-level governance meetings and steering committees. This position offers an excellent entry point for a motivated professional with a strong scientific background to gain hands-on experience in complex, interdisciplinary research programs and EU-funded projects within a global healthcare environment.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Natural Sciences, ideally Life Sciences, with a Master's degree.

Experience

  • Initial professional experience in medical technology, pharmaceuticals, or biotechnology
  • Experience in scientific project coordination or interdisciplinary research programs
  • Practical understanding of EU research projects and funding frameworks
  • Experience in preparing management reports and decision-making documentation
  • Demonstrated background in biomedical research specifically related to CAR-T therapy
