Job Summary
TotalEnergies is seeking a dedicated Head of HSE to lead health, safety, and environmental initiatives at their highly specialized mineral oil plant in Osnabrück, Germany, which focuses on developing and producing lubricants and specialty chemicals globally. This role is critical as the site undergoes significant investment to expand its product range, including rolling oils and bio-based coolants. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all legal and internal HSE guidelines, coordinating external contractors on safety matters, and advising management. Day-to-day tasks involve preparing monthly HSE reports, coordinating technical projects, developing emergency documentation, and conducting safety training. Key requirements include a university degree in Engineering or a comparable qualification, advanced training as a Waste and Hazardous Materials Officer, and at least three years of specialized professional experience in a production environment. Fluency in both German and English is mandatory, alongside proven leadership competence, making this a challenging and rewarding role within a global energy company.
