Job Summary

The Municipality of Edewecht, located in the Ammerland district of Lower Saxony, is seeking an Energy Manager to join the Department of Community Development and Economic Promotion. This role is critical for advancing the municipality's energy management system and ensuring sustainable operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and implementing energy-saving measures, creating energy reports, and technically monitoring facilities. You will also be responsible for planning and supervising construction projects focused on energy efficiency, including plausibility checks for technical specifications. A key aspect of the role involves raising awareness among building users through training and evaluating the integration of renewable energy technologies. The ideal candidate holds a Master Craftsman or Technician qualification in energy/building technology or an engineering degree focused on energy management, coupled with project coordination skills and proficiency in MS Office.
