Job Summary

This full-time, permanent position as an Automation Specialist involves deep technical work in machine and plant automation, focusing on EMSR technology and computerized systems within an international industrial company near Mainz-Bingen. The role requires independent parameterization of objects in controllers and drive units, complex documentation of high-quality source code, and advanced error diagnosis within control logic and fieldbus devices. Key responsibilities also include expanding control logics (FUP, KOP, FC), implementing individual device controls based on design specifications, and coordinating system integration tests (SIT) under general guidelines in a specialized field. Candidates must possess fundamental knowledge of pharmaceutical production, regulatory requirements, and standard programming systems like PLC, HMI, and SCADA. Success in this role demands strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills, coupled with experience in project management and a quality-oriented, business-minded approach. Fluency in German (C1) and proficiency in English (B2) are required.
