Job Summary

This role involves working for a leading European aircraft equipment manufacturer based in Lindenberg im Allgäu, focusing on the quality assurance of materials. The Materials Tester will be responsible for executing mechanical and metallographic material tests according to customer specifications, general process, and approval regulations. Key daily tasks include selecting appropriate testing procedures based on component drawings and specifications, procuring and reviewing test plans, and setting up and calibrating testing and measuring equipment. A crucial part of the job is the documentation and analysis of results, including marking defective assemblies, creating fault descriptions, and generating comprehensive test, investigation, and approval reports. Candidates should have completed professional training as a Materials Tester or possess a similar qualification, ideally coupled with initial professional experience, and demonstrate a meticulous, structured, and team-oriented approach to work.
