Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated System Administrator specializing in Citrix Virtualization within the City of Bochum's Department for Personnel Management, Information Technology, and Organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring and administering Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), Citrix-based terminal server environments, and Citrix Netscalers, both in cloud and on-premise setups. Key responsibilities also include configuring Active Directory policies for Citrix environments, developing scripts for automation and functional requirements, and providing second and third-level support to the User Help Desk. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the city's strategic development, work in a modern, service-oriented administration with flexible working conditions, including up to 80% home office, and an unlimited contract.
