Job Summary
Join the State Enterprise Forest and Wood North Rhine-Westphalia as an IT Specialist, contributing to the sustainable and future-oriented management of forests and natural areas. This role, based in Münster, involves comprehensive IT responsibilities from planning and development to administration, monitoring, analysis, optimization, and troubleshooting of critical systems. You'll work with Oracle databases, including PL/SQL and APEX, and ideally possess knowledge of various server and network technologies. The ideal candidate is a team player, customer-oriented, and open to new challenges, including occasional travel and off-hours work for system updates. Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree (Bachelor or equivalent) in Computer Science, Communication Technology, Telecommunications, or a comparable field; OR completed IT vocational training (e.g., IT Specialist) with several years of professional experience; OR vocational training with acquired comparable IT skills and knowledge with several years of professional experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in planning, development, and system administration of Oracle databases
- Professional experience in the conception, development, and implementation of software projects in Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle APEX environments
- Several years of professional experience in IT for candidates with an IT vocational training or comparable skills

- Willingness to travel nationwide for business trips. Willingness to work occasionally on weekends or outside regular working hours for updates or maintenance. Valid Class B driving license required.
