Job Summary

This critical role seeks a Coordinator and GIS Officer responsible for the technical administration, implementation, and continuous development of the RIWA-GIS Geoinformation System within the District Development department. Key daily tasks include establishing and executing the overall GIS strategy, providing expert user support and training, and coordinating system updates and releases in collaboration with IT. The officer will leverage their expertise to conduct strategic analyses and evaluations using geographic data, supporting key decision-making processes across the district. Furthermore, the position requires independent planning and execution of GIS projects, including data digitization, maintenance, and comprehensive documentation for both programming and end-users. Candidates must hold a relevant Bachelor's degree in fields such as Geoinformatics, Geodesy, or Civil Engineering, coupled with deep practical experience in GIS programs, particularly RIWA-GIS.
