Job Summary

SKF Marine, a global leader in marine technology, is seeking two Electrical Engineers in Hamburg to focus on the control and regulation of inverter-controlled drive systems for ship stabilizers. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the continuous development of electrical control technology for current stabilizer series. Day-to-day tasks involve electrical troubleshooting, prototype development support, conducting test runs, and performing port and sea trials with customers. You will also be required to adapt software and hardware to meet specific customer requirements. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Mechatronics with a specialization in inverter-controlled drives, combined with strong professional experience in drive systems and PLC programming (WAGO or SIMATIC preferred). This position requires excellent German and English communication skills and offers an attractive, permanent contract with a maximum of 30% travel.
