Job Summary
The Senior Data Platform Engineer will be crucial in modernizing an enterprise-wide data platform for a leading German wireless infrastructure provider. This role focuses heavily on migrating the existing Oracle data platform to Snowflake, requiring deep expertise in modern cloud data architectures and Snowflake technologies. Day-to-day responsibilities include continuously developing the Snowflake data model, implementing high-performance ELT pipelines, and analyzing data from diverse source systems, particularly interpreting complex SAP source logic. The ideal candidate will establish and maintain enterprise data models and architectural standards, support data quality assurance, and contribute to Data Governance processes. Strong collaboration skills are essential for aligning requirements and architectural decisions with IT, business units, and internal stakeholders. - Knowledge of Data Governance and Data Quality Tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica DQ, Alation) is beneficial
