Job Summary

This position calls for a dedicated Medical Physics Expert (MPE) to join the Clinic and Polyclinic for Radiotherapy and Radiooncology on an unlimited, full- or part-time contract. The MPE will play a critical role as a certified Radiation Protection Officer, responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safety and technical quality. Key daily tasks involve comprehensive quality control (QC), detailed dosimetry, and technical monitoring of advanced radiation and planning systems. A major focus is the creation, optimization, and physical verification of patient-specific radiation plans, including oversight of specialized treatment techniques such as stereotactic radiation and brachytherapy, with potential involvement in proton therapy. The ideal candidate must hold a university degree in physics or a technical field and possess the required MPE certification for tele- and brachytherapy. The role is unique due to its active participation in clinical studies, quality management, continuous professional development, and involvement in the education of future specialists, such as those in the Master's program for Medical Radiation Sciences.
