Job Summary
This role involves managing diverse electrical engineering construction projects for federal institutions, including research facilities, laboratories, and administrative buildings, primarily located in Berlin. The engineer will handle all phases of the HOAI (German Fee Schedule for Architects and Engineers), encompassing independent planning, tendering, cost control, site supervision, and billing. Key responsibilities also include coordinating external engineering firms, acting as the client representative, and developing concepts for the future development and decarbonization of the properties. This position offers stable, future-proof employment within an interdisciplinary team environment, focusing on challenging public sector construction and infrastructure projects for the German Federal Government.
Required Skills
Education
Diploma Engineer, Bachelor, or Master in Electrical Engineering or comparable field.
Experience
- Experience over the entire project lifecycle of medium and large construction projects (advantageous)
- Experience in maintenance (advantageous)
- Practical experience in tendering and site management (advantageous)
- Practical experience in calculation, billing, and change order management (advantageous)
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to travel between Berlin and Karlsruhe is required. Knowledge of the specific procedures for public contracting authorities (Bundesbau) is advantageous.
