This role involves developing and implementing innovative control solutions tailored for plant engineering projects, supporting clients in their transition to Industry 4.0. Day-to-day responsibilities include independently programming PLC controls using tools like SIMATIC Step 7 and TIA Portal, continuously optimizing existing systems, and creating user-friendly process visualizations with WinCC. The successful candidate will also be responsible for commissioning systems both internally and at customer sites, requiring a willingness to travel globally. Key qualifications include a degree in Automation Technology or a related field, combined with several years of profound experience in PLC applications. Fluency in German and good English skills are essential for effective communication and technical documentation.
