Job Summary

This role involves connecting people and technology by developing and implementing software components primarily for Linux systems (such as Debian and Ubuntu). The developer will utilize C/C++ and standard build tools to create robust solutions. Key responsibilities include the configuration, administration, and maintenance of Linux environments, potentially involving kernel adjustments based on hardware setup. A core part of the job is translating software architectures and requirements (often managed via tools like Doors/Doors Next) into technical solutions, integrating communication interfaces, and ensuring quality through rigorous software testing and documentation. Candidates must hold a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent, possess excellent knowledge of Linux system development and C/C++ programming, and have good command of both German (at least B2 level) and English. Experience with Qt development, embedded Linux, or Yocto is a plus.
