Job Summary
This opportunity is for an IT Support Specialist (2nd Level) to join a globally active IT service provider in Dresden, focusing on ensuring continuous service improvement for clients. The core responsibilities include the installation and configuration of essential IT equipment like PCs, laptops, and printers, managing hardware rollouts, and maintaining inventory. A critical part of the role is providing 2nd Level Support, which involves analyzing and resolving disturbances across standard and proprietary hardware and software systems, and efficiently managing support requests through a ticketing system, including necessary escalation to 3rd Level Support. Successful candidates must have a completed IT qualification or equivalent professional experience, coupled with fundamental knowledge of Windows 10, networking, Office applications, and Mobile Device Management (MDM). Fluency (C1) in German and possession of a Class B driving license are mandatory requirements for this long-term position.
