Job Summary

This role involves acting as a key technical contact and supporter for colleagues and sales teams regarding electronics and machinery insurance matters. The Specialist Engineer will be responsible for the substantive review and settlement of claims, including on-site damage inspection, report generation, negotiation, and claims regulation. A crucial part of the job is independently updating and continuously developing existing insurance concepts within these specialized areas. Furthermore, the role requires designing, initiating, and executing measures for loss reduction and prevention, while actively fostering and expanding collaborative relationships with clients. Ideal candidates possess a degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics), strong customer orientation, excellent communication skills, and a proactive, structured, and economically sound approach to work.
