This critical role involves ensuring the safety and quality of Siemens Mobility rail vehicle testing systems by implementing high-quality electrotechnical modifications at the Wegberg site. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing electromechanical, electrical, and electronic changes to control cabinets, devices, and subsystems, as well as troubleshooting and eliminating customer defects on rolling stock according to strict specifications. The successful candidate must possess vocational training in electrical engineering and several years of professional experience, ideally within the rail vehicle sector. Key tasks require meticulous work based on circuit diagrams, technical drawings, and 3D model views, ensuring compliance with VDE standards and DGUV V3 regulations. This position is highly dynamic, requiring significant travel readiness (50–80%) for project-based assignments, making it suitable for a flexible, quality-conscious professional looking for a permanent contract and a substantial welcome bonus.
