Job Summary

This permanent role as a PLC Programmer in Krefeld involves the autonomous programming and optimization of industrial machinery and systems within a dynamic, international engineering team. The core focus includes developing new programs using Siemens TIA Portal and S7, creating and adjusting machine visualizations, and continuously enhancing existing PLC programs to boost efficiency and system availability. Essential duties extend beyond development to include rigorous functional and system testing of control cabinets, managing full system commissioning both in the factory and at customer sites, and providing expert analysis and resolution of system malfunctions. Candidates must hold an Electrical Engineering Technician certification or a comparable university degree, possess several years of professional experience in PLC programming, and demonstrate excellent proficiency with Siemens TIA Portal and S7.
