Job Summary

This role is ideal for a dedicated Instrumental Analytical Laboratory Engineer keen on advancing their career through challenging work in drinking water analysis. The core responsibilities include the independent execution of chemical analyses using advanced instrumental techniques. Day-to-day tasks involve meticulous sample preparation, including filtration, Solid Phase Extraction (SPE), and liquid/liquid extraction, as well as the operation, calibration, and maintenance of sophisticated Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) and Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS) instruments. A key focus is on quality assurance, ensuring all documentation and processes adhere to valid standards such as ISO 17025, alongside troubleshooting and method optimization. Candidates must hold a completed degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field, or possess a Chemical-Technical Assistant (CTA) qualification, coupled with relevant professional experience, preferably in water or environmental analysis.
