Job Summary

This role is crucial for maintaining the continuous operation of a cutting-edge, sustainable data center, aiming to be one of Germany's most efficient colocation facilities. As the Electrical Technician, you will be the backbone of the infrastructure, focusing on the maintenance, inspection, and testing of the entire power supply system. Daily tasks include managing complex UPS systems, battery banks, and performing regular test runs of diesel emergency power systems (NEA) and their control technology. Your expertise will be vital for fault diagnosis on switchgear, main distribution boards, and busbar systems. The position requires performing switching operations in medium and low voltage ranges, analyzing power quality, and ensuring maximum IT availability through the management of grounding and lightning protection systems. You will also be responsible for installing new components for server racks and meticulously documenting all modifications in operating manuals to ensure compliance with the highest safety and quality standards.
