Job Summary
This role requires an experienced IT Specialist to manage the 24/7 operation, maintenance, and strategic development of critical internal IT infrastructure services, with a primary focus on Storage systems. Working within the IT Basic Operations team, you will ensure high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) requirements are met for systems supporting essential government and emergency communication networks. Key responsibilities include independently managing selected services, implementing technical requirements, coordinating and executing changes, supporting IT project planning, and creating comprehensive system documentation. Candidates must demonstrate excellent administration skills in NetApp and VMware vSAN, coupled with familiarity in network/system administration (Linux/Windows) and adherence to ITIL standards for Incident and Change Management. This position offers a secure, socially relevant mission and flexible working models.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; alternatively, relevant completed vocational training or a comparable qualification
Experience
- Professional experience in operating IT infrastructure services with HA/DR requirements
- Experience in Incident Management and Change Management according to ITIL standards
- Experience in planning and implementing IT projects
