Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated Cyber Security Analyst to safeguard the Lufthansa Group's critical websites and apps, focusing specifically on large-scale eCommerce platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include participating in team calls to prioritize current challenges and attacks, managing diverse security incidents that require immediate expert analysis and mitigation, and collaborating with IT Operations to enhance security configurations and strengthen defenses. The ideal candidate possesses a university degree in Computer Science or a related field, coupled with several years of experience in web security, particularly protecting large eCommerce platforms. Essential technical knowledge includes deep understanding of Internet and web technologies across all OSI layers, proficiency in protocols like DNS, HTTP, and TLS, and extensive experience with WAFs, CDNs (like Akamai or Cloudflare), and botnet defense strategies.
