Job Summary
The Team Lead Software Development will be instrumental in driving innovation for a technology leader specializing in steel processing plants. This role involves conceptualizing software architectures, developing control and application software (PLC and .NET), and managing software projects for new development, maintenance, and expansion within the KCS product area. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership to a team of four software developers, actively participating in the development of .NET and/or PLC software, and promoting standardization and modularization. Key requirements include a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Computer Science, along with at least five years of professional experience in software development for .NET applications and/or PLC automation, preferably in mechanical engineering environments. Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Technical Computer Science, or comparable qualification
Experience
- Minimum 5 years in software development of .NET applications and/or PLC automation (B&R or Siemens)
- Professional experience in control technology within mechanical engineering
- Experience in leading teams or projects
- Professional experience with Siemens S7 TIA Portal and/or development in Visual Studio
- Professional experience in modularization and standardization of software
